A solo exhibition of work by Chun Kwang Young. The acclaimed Korean artist is best known for his Aggregations; freestanding and wall-hung sculptural works made from thousands of triangular forms wrapped in antique mulberry paper tinted with teas or pigment.

The show’s title, Let’s Pretend Everything is Alright, is a wry take on the sentiment of Iranians deeply affected by the current geopolitical climate. The effects of political uncertainty and economic sanctions permeate the day-to-day lives of the Iranian people, many of whom function with a diminishing sense of optimism for what the future holds.
